Papers are ready!

Hey everyone!

It has been a good week for us here in San Juan again.

This week we had divisions with the zone leaders. Elder Lopez and I
both went to their area. I got to spend the day with Elder Lee from
the Dominican Republic. Well actually his dad is from Guatemala and
his mom is from Iowa. So he speaks English and honestly feels more
gringo than latino. Anyways I had a good time with him. Like I have
said before, I really enjoy meeting new missionaries and learning from
them. The only thing is that Elder Lee is new to his area so when we
went to our dinner appointment we got kind of lost. We finally got to
our dinner at about 9:15 when we were supposed to get there at like
8:30. When we finally got home I was way tired and drenched in sweat.
The good thing is that in the zone leaders house has air conditioning
that works really well. Well, a little too well. Because I spent
almost the entire night shivering.

The good news for this week is that we finally have all the papers
ready for Kevin and Karla´s wedding! Kevin´s brother got here on
Friday to drop off the last papers that we needed. Today they are
going to the "municipalidad" to drop off their papers and put a date
for their wedding. They have to wait at least 15 business days before
the wedding so they are probably going to get married the 2nd or 3rd
week of september. I am just so glad we finally got all those papers
done.

Also this week we spent a lot of time in Takamiche finding new
investigators again. In Takamiche their are a lot of humble people
that are willing to learn more about their Savior. Takamiche has lots
of little pathways and tight corners. It also has lots of hills and
steep climbs. Sometimes we turn a corner and we find a whole other
group of houses. I enjoy exploring it.

Anyways that is it from my end. Thanks for all the love and support!
Have a great week!

Elder Gessell
