TRIO!
Hey everyone!
It has been another exciting week here in San Juan.
The biggest thing this week was that we were in a trio the since
Wednesday. There were emergency changes in another area in the mission
so they needed Elder Petersen´s help to fill in the companionship. So
we added Elder Aguilar to our companionship for the week. The good
thing is that we share the ward so our areas and our houses are close
together. It was a little strange to be in trio honestly. It is weird
to teach the lessons split up into 3 and also we had visit houses in
the both areas. So we were extra busy this week. But we made it work.
As far as our investigators go, Kevin and Karla are working on taking
out some papers for their wedding. We found out that it will be a lot
harder to contract a lawyer for their wedding so we are going to have
to do through the Municipalidad. Im not sure what that is translated
into English haha. So we think we are going to have to do one more
fundraiser to raise the last bit of money.
Tomorrow there are transfers and Elder Benitez has changes to go to La
Ceiba. Right next to where I used to be. I think he will enjoy it. My
new companion is Elder Lopez from Peru. He has the same amount of time
in the mission as Elder Benitez, about 6 months. I meet him tomorrow.
These past few days I have been studying the Book of Mormon quite a
bit. I bought a hard cover Book of Mormon in English so I could start
new with my markings and highlights and all that. Right now I am just
reading and underlining every reference to Jesus Christ. I enjoy it.
Especially since I am reading in the Isaiah chapters I enjoy looking
for the tougher references to Jesus Christ with all kinds of
symbolism.
Anyways, I think this email is going to be a little shorter. Today we
are going to pass by all the members and investigators so that Elder
Benitez can say goodbye.
Also Happy late Birthday to Madi! I cant believe you are 11 years old!
I hope you had a great time. I was thinking about you all week! Love
you tons!
