Knocking Doors in the USA

I´ve got to make this quick because I made the mistake of responding to my emails before writing the group email lo siento.

This week we went knocking on doors again in super rich area. This place is probably what it feels like knocking on doors in the US so it makes me kind of nervous when we are starting out. It is kind of funny that even after like a year of experience I still get a little nervous knocking on someones door. But really I am only nervous for like the first two doors and then next thing I know we are running up to the doors to catch people before they get inside their house. We even rang a few door bells which was cool because here those don´t exist. I even talked on a little intercom thingy. When I touched the button I felt like a little boy again touching the buttons in the elevator haha.

Anyways, after about knocking on twenty doors with no luck we were getting ready to go to our next appointment. But I said to Elder Bohorquez that we aren´t leaving until someone lets us in. The next house we knocked on let us in and they were super cool. It was a recently married couple that gave us pineapple juice and told us to come back this week. It was pretty awesome.

Oh I almost forgot. I am staying here. Elder Bohorquez is also staying!

Thanks again everyone. I love you all. I love this work!

Love,
Elder Gessell
