Don't Eat the Pork

Hey Everyone!

Kind of a long week this week. Elder Martinez has been having problems with his stomach so we had to stay in the house for basically the whole week.

On Tuesday I was on divisions/splits with Elder Reyes in our neighboring area called Lempira. And Elder Martinez was in our area with Elder Padilla. I enjoy going to Lempira because it has lots of hills and it is a lot prettier than my area. But it is a lot of walking and hiking up hills.

 Anyways, while Martinez was in our area apparently he ate some really bad pork which really messed up his stomach. Poor guy was throwing up everything that he ate. So we ended up staying in the house for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I spent most of the time reading and a little bit sleeping. I really tried not to sleep during the day because I always feel more tired when I wake up. So I would get all dressed and ready in my shirt and tie even though we never left the house. This seemed to help me from falling asleep while I read haha.

As for Carlos we are planning one more fundraiser to take out the last few papers. We are really hoping this gets it done. I really want to get him baptized before changes just in case if I leave the area.

The other cool thing that happened this week was that I anointed 2 people with oil in Spanish. The first one was while me and Elder Trepanier were walking in the street and some guy came up to us and asked us for a favor. We followed him to his house and his father had been in a car accident. They were members in a different area and they asked if we could give the blessing. It was pretty cool. I was a little nervous to do it Spanish haha. The second time was for Elder Martinez because his stomach hasnt been improving much. 

That seems to be mostly it. Super Excited to talk to the family this week!! Love you all!!
