Last Week at the MTC!
Hey everyone!
Its so crazy to think about how fast the time here at the MTC has passed! Just one more week and I'm heading off to the outskirts of San Pedro Sula! I am getting a little nervous but I am also really excited to see how my life is going to be for the next 2 years.
It's gonna be hard to leave my comp, Elder Darling. We have gotten really close over these short 6 weeks. He has been a huge blessing to me in helping me adjust to mission life. And most likely Elder Darling is going to be one of my few North American companions for a while. I was able to see some pictures of the districts in San Pedro Sula East and there were very few North Americans. A little bit scary that I'm likely going to have a trainer who doesnt speak much English. Oh well I know that it will be the for the best.
Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling super good this week. Just about everybody in my district had some kind of problem with there stomachs except for me... until this week. I am starting feel a little better today but it was kinda rough earlier this week. The nurse here is really helpful and has given anything that I need so I think I should back to 100% by Wednesday for Thursday.
Other than that not much else has happened this week. Everyone is just getting a little nervous and anxious to get out into the field. Which by the way I may not get the chance to email next week because I will be traveling. My first chance to email in the field I have a flood of pictures to send. Thanks again for the emails, prayers, and support!
Love you all!
Elder Gessell
